Faith Enrichment & Emotional Support
The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and our local Parish of St. Michael Catholic Church continue to provide videos and links to “Live Masses,” video recordings, and prayers. In addition, we invite you to join in the daily litany whenever possible with Relevant Radio at 11:05 a.m. We have our live crowning of Mary on our Facebook page:

Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.-Amen.

Mental Health Support: Our children are also feeling the anxiety of all that is happening around them. While school is closed, a routine is a healthy way of structuring your days. Included scheduled time for school work, outdoor play, free-choice reading, unstructured play and rest time. Address questions directly and honestly. Continuing with regular bed time and meal times is also helpful. Limit exposure to media and screen time outside of their online learning. Additional resources that you may find helpful:
St. Michael Catholic School Preschool-5 teachers will send parents a weekly email each Friday by 3 p.m. with an outline for the next week’s homework, linked lessons, and live classes. Please reach out directly to your teacher with any questions. See Saw and Zoom will be the primary ways teachers will link learning and live classes with you. No additional assignments or new classes will be scheduled after May 21st. Students have until May 27th at 3 p.m. to turn in any homework for the quarter.
